Sam Selby is a comedian, writer, and actor based in Chicago. Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, she uses her East Coast brutal honesty to create the perfect combination of cute and crude, resulting in a delightful and entertaining experience. With a knack for finding humor in ordinary moments, Selby crafts clever jokes and employs playful wordplay to captivate her audience.

A graduate of the Second City Improv Program, Selby co-created the dynamic sketch comedy duo Sad Girls Only in 2019. Collaborating as writers, producers, and performers, they succeeded with their acclaimed show, "Having It All!"

Selby's talents have taken her nationwide. Notably, she has graced the stages of renowned comedy venues such as Zanies and Laugh Factory in Chicago. She's been featured in numerous comedy festivals, including Last Best Comedy Fest, Portland Comedy Festival, and Madison Comedy Week. She has opened for comedians Erica Rhodes and Andy Woodhull. In 2025, she released her debut comedy album, Wicked Funny and Kinda Desirable, which is available on all streaming platforms.
